Brandy - Kelpie Dog

Shelter: BC SPCA - Quesnel & District Animal ID: 475160 Birthdate: February 24, 2016 - Young Adult Spayed/Neutered: Yes Female Brandy has just arrived in our care so we are still getting to know her, but we have quickly fallen in love with her gentle soul. Brandy is looking for an equally gentle home as she is a very sensitive dog and does not do well with harsh training. She listens extremely well and has great recall. Brandy is not an outside dog and really strives from plenty of affection and just spending time with her people - so a home where her guardians are home often or can take her with them is best for her. Brandy does show some anxiety but we know once she gets into a proper routine and gets the exercise and attention she needs, that this will likely subside. Brandy is best suited to a home as an only dog, as she is uncomfortable around them. Brandy can be fearful around loud sounds so we think a quieter home with no young children is best for her. Being a herding breed, she does have energy so daily walks are a must for her! Brandy is a very sweet, obedient dog and we know whoever adopts her will be very lucky, so come meet her 12-4pm Tuesday-Saturday, we know you will fall in love.
