Copper

Copper is a 2 year old plot hound with extraordinary intelligence. He opens doors, climbs trees and fences. He out smarts any other dog I have owned. He is very loyal and eager to work to please us. He thinks he is a lap dog and loves to cuddle. Unfortunately Copper finds his way out of our 6' fenced yard all the time to follow his nose. Unfortunately this has led him into trouble on many occasions. We have found him in traffic and fear he will be hit. He is a part of our family and we love him but know he is caged with us. After a very long talk and tough decision my wife and I think there is a better life out there for Copper. Off leash he is well behave but will go off to investigate a good scent trail. On leash he misbehaves and acts out baying and carrying on. Just has to be free.... Copper has a strong work ethic and would suite a farm or very large open property. We are looking for the right home situation that would work for Copper. If you feel Copper could be a part of your family we would like to hear from you.
