Zoey - Border Collie Dog

Shelter: BC SPCA - Quesnel & District Animal ID: 485430 Birthdate: April 18, 2014 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: Unknown Female Zoey is a lovely dog who is looking to find her new people. Unfortunately we don't know much about Zoey's past life, but here are some things we've learned about her since she's been with us: Zoey can be a little hesitant of new people, but she warms up quickly and is very sweet. She knows some basic commands and seems to be quite eager to please her people. As she is still quite new to us, we aren't sure how she does around children yet. Zoey prefers to be the only pet and can be reactive to some dogs - counter conditioning using positive reinforcement and slow introductions to new dogs will be beneficial in helping create appropriate behaviors. Zoey has good manners and seems to be house trained and okay when left. An adjustment period is always recommended when bringing a new dog home to help her adjust to her new routine. Zoey would like an active home that can provide her with long daily walks to keep her feeling her best.
